This was a photo montage I did a couple years ago in photoshop.  It was inspired by the song "Dirt." really enjoy fooling around with photoshop and wish I knew more about using it for creative photo editing.

Champion ONE's "Quality Shield"

I made this for symbol for the company I work for.  It is a symbol for the companies excellence and protection that they provide for the consumer.  We went through a million iterations.  I learned a lot about illustrator to complete this project... and patience.

I took this picture at a Trey Anastasio show in Cleveland.  I liked how the noise from the high iso added something to the image.

e = emcee echer cubed

A minimalist cube I made back in the day, the "trick" is a little off, wished the glue had dried with the wood straight.

Gray scale design cube produced by glacaeu, rich w/ vitamins, comes in many flavors

CSS Animation

Since we're talking about animations, I guess I'll post this Frozen-inspired animation I made a while ago. This is similar to using keyframes in Photoshop, but with CSS.

Hover your cursor over the snowflake to play the animation and move the cursor off of it to pause the animation.

Metroid Animation

Here is an animation I did in high school, I finally figured out open it in my new version of Photoshop.
I was watching Netflix and remembered this Breaking Bad painting that I was working on over the summer. It's like 95% finished but I'll put it here anyways. If you haven't watched Breaking Bad go do it. Now. You will be obsessed.

Music Visualization

In this project, I want to make an animation (or dynamic image) in which the images are synchronized with the music as it is played. There are three different values of the shapes: size, color and transparency, and only the size is indicated by the audio input. With the help of computer calculating, I have these beautiful dynamic shapes - they are absolutely non-objective and non-narratively, and automatically react to the audio.

YiHAO ZHANG'S DRAWINGS

some fun family history

October 15th last week would have been my grandfather's 105th birthday. He passed away in January 2010 just over the age of 100, and he was a very successful and great man to say the least. He and his brothers all graduated from medical school here at Ohio State. I sketched this picture for fun the other day after one of my cousins shared it on his birthday. We D'Amores love our family history. :)

Mouse

This was my final design for assignment 6 --making an animal out of shapes and/or lines one. I played with using lines sometimes and shapes sometimes in a way that kind of made sense (follows the natural line of the mouse's body) but doesn't make too much sense (the placement and colors of the lines and shapes aren't there to make the mouse more realistic, and sometimes the shape touches the line and sometimes there is a space in between, for not reason other than composition and variety).

Lion in Illustrator

I started doing this for another class but realized it was not what the assignment asked for. I still saved it because I thought it looked really nice. Also because I'm obsessed with cats. It was done in Illustrator.

Fire

Here is a project I did in high school of my initials. It was done in Photoshop.

Scribbles

This is a drawling I did last year in micron pens. I wanted to try something different so I shaded the whole picture in scribbles to give it an interesting look.

In class digital drawings!

One more thing I think I forgot to mention in class: you can either select "darken" or "multiply" of the type of drawing layer. Sometimes "multiply" works better than "darken".

Here are some great works we did last Wednesday!

Backpack Sketches

A series of backpack sketches I did last year, using markers. I just like BACKPACKING soooo much!
